Sophia- Unlike the male creator, Sophia does not make this world of ours, she makes herself into it. Dreaming of her next experiment, she dreams empathically.
This sculpture was created during a live model session using direct observation and exaggeration. My objective for this sculpture was to see how far I coud push the pose and the limits of the clab body.

14in x 6.5in x 14.5in (height, width, depth)
Base: 8inches x 8 inches
Estimated total weight: 11 lbs
Box details: Every sculpture is double boxed.
The type of clay I like to use is a low fire cone 6 EM-342 Whiteware that is certified nontoxic.
Low-fire clays tend to have good workability and usually will not shrink, warp, or sag excessively. However, they are softer which means that they are less durable and will absorb liquids.
Earthenware is the earliest type of pottery. It is made from either red or white clay baked at low temperature, typically 1000-1080°C (1830-1980°F). Since it has not been fired to the point of vitrification, earthenware is porous and must be glazed in order to be watertight. It is generally more fragile than other types of pottery.
Every sculpture is bubble wrapped, double boxed, and insured. Packaging costs are included in the total cost.
