Anything I see or feel can inspire me to start a painting, but I usually begin the process with an image or theme in mind. I’m a big fan of leaving the interpretation of each piece up to the viewer so individual perspectives can be preserved. As for the meaning each painting holds for me personally, I usually don’t fully realize what a piece means to me until it’s completed. As I paint, I pour myself into each stroke, which tends to reflect a specific set of emotions from that point in my life.
Paintings add a lot to any space and make superb gifts. If you see a painting you’d like on your wall, head on over to the shop page to make it happen.
